1. Acceptance
By creating a Family ID or a partner account on Bandhan, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract in India (or your country of residence). Partners must be validly registered businesses.
3. Your Family ID
- Your Family ID is a permanent, non-transferable identifier. Only the Family Head can add or remove members.
- Every member owns their own data. Removing a member does not delete their personal history.
- You are responsible for keeping your PIN and OTP confidential.
4. Vendors & bookings
- Bandhan is a facilitator — the actual services (photography, catering, venue, etc.) are provided by independent third-party partners.
- All contracts, deposits, cancellations and refunds sit between you and the partner. Bandhan captures the booking and payment flow but is not a party to that contract.
- Verified badge on a partner means we have completed KYC + peer review. It is not a warranty of quality or fitness.
5. Payments
- Payments run through licensed gateways (Stripe / Razorpay). We do not store card data.
- Prices are in INR unless clearly stated otherwise. GST is added where applicable and reflected on the invoice.
- Subscription plans (Company / Franchise) renew automatically until cancelled from your account.
6. Fair use
You agree not to:
- Scrape or bulk-download the directory.
- Impersonate another family, advisor or partner.
- Attempt to bypass the trust-review or KYC flow.
- Upload content that infringes copyright or promotes hate.
- Use the Platform for anything illegal under Indian law.
7. Content you upload
You retain ownership of photos, notes and files you upload. You grant Bandhan a limited licence to host, display and back them up so we can operate the Platform. We will not use your content for marketing without your explicit consent.
8. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms, or that pose a fraud or safety risk. You may close your account at any time — go to Settings → Danger zone.
9. Warranty & liability
The Platform is provided "as-is" without any express or implied warranty of merchantability or fitness. To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of the Platform is limited to the fees you paid to Bandhan in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹10,000 — whichever is higher.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra.
